Emotions are contagious. We've all known it experientially. You know after you have a really fun coffee with a friend, you feel good. When you have a rude clerk in a store, you walk away feeling bad.

The Greatest Resource
This it the time. There is no better place. Can the future be so easily within our reach?
The greatest resource is out imagination. The imagination to reach beyond our circumstances.
To see beyond the surface. Assistance freely given can only be seen as a blessing.

Childhood
Like the seasons, childhood comes and goes without reason or order.
The more we try to control it, the more it slips through our fingertips.
Slow down time and build the memories that will last a lifetime.

Milestones
Research has been done on the mental and physical milestones you can expect when you have a child. Understanding Infantilism provides a detailed list of what to expect from when the child is born to when he or she is eighteen.
These milestones are not accomplished in a vacuum. It can take more than parents, teachers, and peers to guide children to there future.

Makes sense
Have you ever looked at something and everything makes sense?
Advaana was developed through the years on the principle that progress takes time and understanding.
Children, youth, women, and seniors need to be given more opportunities to fulfil their path in life.
How is this done?
Simply to recognize that we have to go forward no matter the hard work or effort because in the end it makes a difference.

Programs For Children
ADVAANA runs four flagship programs for children
Dramatised cross-cultural story-telling
This program enables children to take their power of imagination and creativity to greater heights. Children are the master weaver of cross-cultrural stories and primary entertainers. We encourage children to get involved in group activities to foster team spirit and bonding. Instead of a person narrating a story to the children, children become actors, narrators and active participants.
Emotional intelligence [EQ] and leadership
This program supports children to discover, nurture and develop emotional intelligence and life skills. It is geared to children eight years or older. In highly interactive workshop sessions, children develop life skills and are able to map out their specific purpose at each stage of life. Children develop their own goals and acquire the skills, knowledge and tools to accomplish their dreams.
Cross-cultural music and movement
In this program, children experience cross-cultural music from the diverse spectrum of cultures in Toronto! In a safe and non-judgemental space, children become the primary entertainers. Their parents and caregivers are encouraged to get involved in the group activities. This program fosters bonding and community.
Cross-cultural art and craft program
Children are the primary artists during this program. Children get to explore their artistic creativity in a cross-cultural environment. Excitement, creativity, and imagination are all experienced during the cross-cultural art and craft sessions.
